BBQ & Bluegrass Jam One Month Away!

We are so happy to have secured the best talent in Bluegrass Music today to come to Steepleview Farm on October 15th for our annual BBQ & Bluegrass Jam.

We’ve got the great Scotty Anderson the best guitar player in America along with 50 year veteran of incredible music, Rick Kinman and friends to start the day.

Then sit back and enjoy the energy and upbeat sounds of The DownTown County Band, the most entertaining musical group you’d ever want to see.

As evening approaches you will be blown away by the incredible talent of Beck Buller, winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association award for  Emerging Artist, Songwriter, and Recorded Event Of The Year!

We close out this year’s event with last year’s favorite and Lexington Kentucky’s own NewTown with the kind of modern bluegrass music that is sure to get you on your feet!

The BBQ & Bluegrass Jam is proud to be partnering once again with Owen Electric and Classic Country 106.7 WNKR FM to help so many charities.

  • Ticket sales go to the Owen County Arts Council to fund art scholarships.
  • We have the St. Elizabeth Hospital Mobile Mammography van coming to help us in our dedication to finding a cure for breast cancer during October, which is breast cancer awareness month.
  • We will be raising money for the Susan G. Komen foundation for the cure.
  • Also benefiting from commemorative T-Shirt sales at the event will be the Wounded Warrior Project.
  • We are also bringing attention to Operation Honor, Tailgaiting for Troops and Targeting for Troops.
  • And of course the sale of our delicious apple cider as well as the apple cider pressing demonstrations will help Project Graduation.

So make plans now to come and join us for a family friendly day of great food, great music and other great activities like the hayride to the pumpkin patch, face painting, corn hole games and much more.
